It's More Than Coding: How Computational Thinking as a Practice Can Build Equity in Learning
If you first think of computers and coding when you hear the term "Computational Thinking", then this workshop is for you! Using hands-on exercises and a wealth of resources we will demonstrate how Computational Thinking (CT) is more than just 1s and 0s, but rather a problem-solving approach that supports student learning. By intentionally layering CT into projects and activities, school librarians have the potential to promote equity in their lessons - giving all students the foundation they need to be successful in today's fast-paced world.
